Planning Commission

The purpose of the Planning Commission is to recommend to the Township Board land use practices, design standards, ordinances and amendments that will protect and enhance the natural and built environment, and which are fiscally responsible, consistent with the Master Plan, and will protect the long-term health, safety and welfare of the residents of Whitewater Township.
Planning Commission members are appointed by the Supervisor with approval of the Township Board. The term of office is 3 years.
Regular meetings of the Planning Commission are held on the first Wednesday of each month in the Whitewater Township Hall at 7:00 p.m. Notices of special meetings are posted on the website home page under Regular and Special Meeting Notices and in the display case next to the South entrance of the Township Hall.
